Edmonton Auto Paint Shop - Body
Painting & Resprays

Paint is the first thing anyone notices about a vehicle — and the first place a cheap repair shows. Anthony's Autobody paints everything from a single blended panel to complete resprays at our southeast Edmonton shop, with computerized colour matching that makes the repair disappear into the factory finish.

Factory-Match Colour, Every Time

We match your paint from the manufacturer's paint code, then fine-tune the mix against your actual vehicle — because a decade of Alberta sun changes what 'factory white' looks like. Fresh paint is blended into the adjacent panels rather than stopping at a hard panel edge, which is the difference between a repair you can find and one you can't.

Full Vehicle Respray

A full respray makes sense when clear coat is failing across multiple panels, when you're changing colour, or when a restoration deserves better than patchwork. The process: strip and sand the old finish, repair any rust or damage properly, prime, base coat, clear coat, cure, and polish. We'll walk you through preparation levels and what each costs before you commit — the prep, not the paint, is where respray quality is decided.

Panel Painting & Colour Matching

Most paint jobs aren't whole cars — they're one fender, one bumper, one door. Single-panel refinishing with proper blending is our bread and butter, usually turned around in a few days.

Scratch, Chip & Clear Coat Repair

Gravel highways and winter sanding make chips and scratches a fact of Alberta driving. Light clear-coat scratches can often be polished out; deeper scratches that reach colour or metal need refinishing before moisture gets underneath and starts rust. Peeling or clouding clear coat can't be polished back — that panel needs to be refinished, and we'll tell you honestly when that's the case.

Rust Repair

Rust never sleeps, especially with road salt and calcium chloride on Edmonton streets. Proper rust repair means cutting out the corroded metal, welding in new steel, treating the surrounding area, and refinishing — not skimming filler over the bubble so it comes back next spring. We do it the first way.

Rustproofing & undercoating: ask about protecting the repair (and the rest of the vehicle) once the rust is gone.

Plastic & Fiberglass Repair

Cracked bumper covers, split fairings, and fiberglass panels can usually be repaired and refinished for far less than replacement — and for older or rarer vehicles, repair is sometimes the only option.

Auto Painting FAQs

  • Honest answer: it ranges widely, because preparation drives the price. A single blended panel costs a few hundred dollars; a quality full respray on a clean body runs into the thousands, and rust or damage repair adds to it. Send us photos and we'll give you a real number for your vehicle — free, no pressure.

  • A single panel typically takes 2–4 days including cure time. Full resprays run one to three weeks depending on prep and rust repair. Paint needs time to cure properly — anyone promising a quality respray in two days is skipping steps.

  • Yes — our refinish work is backed by our lifetime workmanship warranty for as long as you own the vehicle.
